These days, major vehicle manufacturers produce replacement parts for their vehicles for a limited amount of years only. Did you know, for example, you can NOT purchase a new engine wiring harness for a 2010 Ford F-350 6.4 Diesel Truck? And if by chance you can find a new harness from the manufacturer they want to sell it to you at a ridiculous price. Vehicles do break down and need to be fixed and not everyone can afford to just go buy a new one.
